Ace Schwarz is a trans/non-binary middle school science teacher. They have been teaching science for seven years and love incorporating social justice elements within the science classroom. Ace uses social media platforms like Instagram to help educators, caregivers, and administrators create LGBTQ+ inclusive environments. They also host this work on a website called Teaching Outside the Binary and a Patreon called Growing Outside the Binary with their friend, Skye Tooley. They were awarded GLSEN's Educator of the Year award in 2019 for their work.
