Fostering safe and affirming schools for transgender and gender-expansive students is critical, but it can sometimes feel like there are endless challenges and roadblocks to the work.You may be wondering where to start? Or worried about pushback from staff and families? Ascend Public Charter Schools started to build the foundation of developing gender inclusive schools by creating an innovative and intersectional policy framework.
