Join the session and hear from a panel of caregivers discussing their own journeys parenting a trans or gender expansive child or teen. While centering the needs of the young person is paramount, not recognizing the dynamics that play out for the parents and other family members can ultimately lead to less supportive conditions in which that young person is being raised, with possibly dire consequences. Hear from this group of parents as they reflect on what their own experiences have been like as they come to understand and navigate their child's evolving gender story.
