Limited Capacity seats available

In this workshop, the participants will have an opportunity to gain insights into the particular perspectives of and challenges faced by trans and non-binary teachers and students in the context of Turkey. The session will open up a space for cross-cultural dialogue through the presenter’s observations and perspective on the efforts towards inclusivity and equity in a US higher education institution. Participants will be invited to consider and discuss how people from these two different contexts can learn from one another and if and how studying these two countries side-by-side can offer a potential for learning, capacity building and trans-national solidarity among teachers working in different parts of the world to better support and uplift gender-diverse youth.
