What brings you joy? This question may seem simple, but it can be very complex. In a time where anti-LGBTQ+ legislation is rampant in the news, joy can seem so far away. However, intentionally cultivating joy - including queer joy - is paramount to combatting the trauma occurring across the country and world. In this session, participants will define what joy means to them, learn how to cultivate joy and dismantle barriers that exist within joy, and develop their own joy plan. Participants will be able to take these skills back to their groups and help youth define and cultivate queer joy for themselves.
