Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Video will become available 10 minutes before session start

Limited Capacity seats available

Presenters from a variety of backgrounds will highlight how "code-switching" and "masking" become a form of survival and self-care, helping BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent people live authentically and tell their stories. This session will feature the voices of BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent mental health providers, talking about their lived experiences and how to support self-discovery, commitment to self-care, and survival in a world still learning about BIPOC, the gender spectrum and neurodiversity. This session presents strategies for incorporating self reflection, artistic forms of expression and/or embracing the geeky into our work with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent youth in an effort to help affirm who they are and guide them in finding their voice.
